Terms of use
Effective 26 September 2026
By using WhatsMyR (whatsmyr.com and myfreedomyears.app) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What WhatsMyR is
WhatsMyR is an educational planning tool. It turns the figures you enter into estimates of what your savings might support, using assumptions about markets, inflation, taxes and life expectancy. It is not legal, tax, investment, insurance or financial advice, and it does not know your full circumstances. Talk to a qualified professional before making major financial decisions.
Estimates are estimates
Every figure is a projection, not a promise. Markets, tax rules, benefits and your own life will differ from any model. Results depend on the information you enter and on the assumptions shown in the app, which you can change.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and do not create accounts for other people without their permission.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Acceptable use
Do not try to access other people’s accounts or data, disrupt or overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your information
How your information is handled is described on the Privacy page. Your plan remains yours.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may change or be interrupted. Keep your own copy of anything important: the app can save your plan as a file.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, WhatsMyR and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or from decisions made using its estimates.
Changes
These terms may be updated. If they change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes too, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
